CYLINDER HEAD & INTAKE MANIFOLD MODIFICATIONS

LS-1 Cylinder HeadOur LS-1 cylinder heads feature the latest in high tech port design. These heads feature 2.02/1.60 stainless oversized valves, Comp Cams valve springs and titanium retainers. Castings are fully ported and polished, and combustion chambers are modified for ultimate flame travel and combustion efficiency. Large chamber versions available for blower or nitrous applications at no extra charge.

Our LT-1 castings receive the full treatment of race proven porting and machine work. To produce exellent torque and horsepower figures. These heads run excellent on everything from Impalas to corvettes.
All LT-1 heads have the intake and exhaust runners fully ported to produce at least 270 cfm flow on the intake and 205 cfm on the exhaust. Combustion chambers are fully polished and are opened up to deshroud the valve. Heads are assembled with Ferrera stainless steel valves, comp cams valve springs, and ARP screw-in studs.

LT-4 heads are also available - suggested for maximum performance applications. The larger port runners of these castings make them best suited for cars equipped with a manual transmission or modified torque converter. These heads generally produce 70 to 90 more horsepower than a stock LT-1 head. Camshaft, computer and exhaust modifications are highly recommended in conjunction with these heads.
